Aranwa Hotels Resorts & Spas is a hotel chain offering a destinations guide to Peru, with the aim of offering high-quality hospitality and tourism services, as well as spa treatments tailored to each destination. Aranwa, a Quechua word that means "Story" "Legend", stands for the unforgettable experiences that our visitors will enjoy in each of our hotels.
In November 2008 the first property opened: Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness, located in the Urubamba Valley on the banks of the river Vilcanota. This hotel has been built in an area of 10 hectares, on the grounds of a 17C colonial hacienda. This manor was completely restored and decorated according to the tradition of its greatest years.
In addition to the Sacred Valley property, Aranwa is developing other projects, such as a 5-star boutique hotel in a casona in the heart of the city of Cusco (opening October 2010), a 4 star resort-spa in the Bay of Paracas (opening in early 2012) and other projects in Arequipa, Colca Valley, Puno and Mancora.
